We at First Baptist Church believe that we are the hands and feet of Jesus. We believe that serving others goes beyond the walls of the church building and into the community we live in. We have a variety of ways to serve and volunteer.

Volunteer Areas

Children's Ministry

Opportunities in Children's Ministry include teaching or helping with Sunday School & Children's Church, cuddling little ones in the nursery, Sunday morning registration, and helping set up/tear down for events. All volunteers will need to complete an application and will have a background check completed prior to serving.

Youth Ministry

Serving with the Youth Ministry includes helping with
Sunday night service, leading small groups, teaching
Sunday School, and helping with youth trips. All
volunteers will need to complete an application and will
have a background check completed prior to serving.

Adult Ministry

Sunday Morning Worship

Adult ministry is looking for those with a variety of skills.
There are opportunities to teach, lead, and help. Teachers are
needed for adult Sunday School classes and Bible Studies.
Leaders are needed to lead life groups and other groups.
Helpers can serve in areas such as the decorating,
men's and women's ministry events, etc.

The areas of service on Sunday morning are:

greeters

ushers

security team

worship band

choir

media team (sound and live streaming)

FBC serves local, national, and oversee ministries
