Volunteer

Serving is not something we do on the side at FBC; it is part of who we are.
Whether you are inside the building on a Sunday morning or out in the community during the week, there is a place for you to show up and make a difference.

Check out the places where you can serve!

Adult Ministry

Teach a Sunday School class, lead a Life Group, or use your gifts in another area of adult ministry. If you love helping people grow in their faith and want to invest in the adults of our congregation, there is a place for you here.

FBC Youth Ministry

Invest in middle and high school students on Sunday nights from 5:20–8:00 PM. Small Group Leaders build real relationships with students through conversation, events, and faith. Snack Helpers serve from 7:30–8:00 PM — a simple but important role in making students feel welcome. All volunteers must complete an application and background check before serving.

FBC Rooted Kids Ministry

Care for our youngest kids, teach preschool- and elementary-aged children, or help keep our hallway safe and welcoming. Volunteers serve on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 AM and on Wednesday nights starting at 5:30 PM. Roles include nursery care, teaching, classroom helping, check-in, and security. Most roles ask for at least once a month. All volunteers must complete an application and background check before serving.

Worship & Production

Help lead our church in worship or keep our services running smoothly. Singers and musicians serve in the 10:30 AM Crossing service. The Sanctuary Choir meets at 8:15 AM on Sundays before the 9:00 AM service. The Tech Team runs sound, slides, and live streaming for both services. The Announcement Team delivers live announcements monthly. All roles require training.

Hospitality & Care

Be the first face people see when they walk through the door. Greeters welcome guests at the South Entrance and direct newcomers. The Welcome Desk team assists newcomers with Connect Cards and nametags. The Coffee Team sets up before the 9:00 AM service. Ushers seat guests and distribute bulletins. The Golden Ops Team plans quarterly meals and assists at luncheons. Special Events and Funeral volunteers help with setup, serving, and cleanup as needed. Decorating volunteers help get the building ready for Christmas and Easter.
