Why we give.
God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

If you are unable to attend a service and would prefer to have it come directly to the office, you can drop it off at the front desk or mail it in.

Where does my giving go?
GENERAL AND BUILDING EXPENSES
This fund supports all areas of our ministry. It provides for the ministries of pastoral and support staff. It supplies curriculum for children, youth and adult Sunday School classes and small groups. It assures that our building is a viable ministry hub, by maintaining utility and insurance payments and upkeep.
MISSIONS OUTREACH
All gifts go to support our varied mission partnerships in the community and the world. A listing of the Missions we support can be found under the Missions section of this website.
DEACON'S FUND
This fund is administered by our Deacon Board. The poor, the hungry, those who cannot pay their rent or utility bill, are all around us. Jesus calls us to keep our eyes, ears and hearts open to these needs. Our Deacon’s Fund helps us respond.
DESIGNATED GIFTS
The donor's intent will be fulfilled for designated gifts as much as possible with the understanding that First Baptist Church has complete discretion and direction over the usage of gifts.
