Growth Groups

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 

2 Timothy 3:16-17

The goal of our growth groups is to build a firm foundation in Christ by studying His word together.
The opportunities to grow occur through Bible studies, Equipping courses, and Sunday School classes.

Bible studies are led by members of our church who have demonstrated to have knowledge of Scripture and the ability to help you learn. They meet during the week at various times throughout the year.  

Equipping courses  are led by a pastor and the goal of the course is to train you for service and provide  better understanding of the Bible and its message.  meet once a week for a semester (fall or spring).

Sunday school classes are led by members of our church who have demonstrated to have knowledge of Scripture and the ability to help you learn. They meet on Sunday morning at the church.

They meet on a semester basis with a break at Christmas and during the summer.
They use studies found on Right Now Media.

They meet for a time of study and fellowship.

Fellowship Group
Sunday Mornings 9:00 - 10:00 AM
Meets in Room N109
 This group focuses on connecting with others while learning from Scripture.  They use books and DVD studies to help look at God's word.

College/Young Adults Group
Sunday Mornings 9:00 - 10:00 AM
Meets in Young Adult Cafe
This group is for those between the ages of 18-30 years old.  This group grows in their Christian walk by sharing life with one another, praying together, and working through Bible studies and devotionals.


Good Book Group
Sunday Morning 10:30 - 11:30 AM
Meets in Room W107
This group uses Christian topical books and discussion to grow deeper in their spiritual walk.

Kintaudi Group
Sunday Morning 10:30 - 11:30 AM
Meets in N109
This group focuses on sharing and praying with each other.  Each week they have a devotion, Bible reading, or video message to help them grow spiritually.

Regeneration Group
Sunday Mornings 10:30 - 11:30 AM
Meets in Room E118
This group works through books and Bible studies deepen our walk with Christ.

Life of Jesus: A Study of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke
Sunday Mornings  9:00 - 10:30 AM & 10:30 - 11:30 AM

Whether you have grown up in the church or just getting started, we are on a journey to learn more about who Jesus is.  The Life of Jesus: A Study of the Gospel of Luke will walk you through Scripture with the goal of learning about who Jesus is and the importance of what He did.  

This 12-week equipping course will  start on Sunday, January 21st.  There is no cost for the course and the only required reading is the book of Luke.

Rooted: Connect with God, Church, and Your Purpose
Wednesday Evenings 6:00 - 7:00 PM
 
Rooted is not a typical Bible study or prayer group but an experiential course that will help you answer questions about Christ, the church, and how to live more purposefully.  

During the course, your group leaders will help you answer questions you have and lead experiences that will take you deeper in your walk.   All of the group leaders have completed the course prior to leading you in order to help create the best atmosphere for you as you learn and grow.
 
This 10-week equipping  course will start on Wednesday, January 24th.  You will meet at the church and the group leader will let you know room location prior to starting.  The $20 cost for the course will cover the price of the book that is required.


Grasping God's Word: Bible Knowledge Overview
Wednesday Evenings 6:00 - 7:00 PM

 This course focuses on the Bible and will help you gain a better understanding of His Word.  The goal is to help you understand the overall Bible, the Old Testament geography & history, Old Testament institutions, Christ as God in the flesh, and mission of the church.

This course was offered during 2023 and will not be offered during 2024.  We will have more details soon on any upcoming sessions.
